College Prep Camps
Sean Phillips Soccer College Prep Camp at UIC
Due to COVID-19 concerns, Sean Phillips Soccer did not host our programs at UIC this past summer. The health and safety of our campers, their families, our staff and the UIC community took top priority. We hope that you and your families are healthy, safe and making the best of this challenging time. The NCAA recently extended the Recruiting Dead Period through May 31, 2021. When UIC allows us to host camps on campus and the NCAA lifts the Recruiting Dead Period, we will schedule a College Prep Camp. If you have questions about our programs, please review the website, send an email to email@example.com and join our mailing list. Stay safe!
The camp is designed for high school or junior college boys who have aspirations to play college soccer. Each player receives instruction and an evaluation from members of the UIC Men’s Soccer staff as well as select additional college coaches. Goalkeepers also receive instruction and evaluation from a specialized goalkeeper coach. A recruiting information session will also be included. Additional college coaches from the Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA and junior college levels attended our past College ID Camps.

All confirmation details are sent immediately in the registration confirmation email. A valid email address must be included with the registration. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book!
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons receive a refund less a 20% handling fee. To receive a refund, the camp office must be notified 48 hours prior to registration.
No physical examination is required. Each camper must have a new, completed consent form on file with the camp each year. The form is part of the online registration process.
Each participant is responsible for their own food and snacks. We also recommend that each participant bring their own clearly marked water bottle as Sean Phillips Soccer does not provide cups. Sean Phillips Soccer does provide water coolers with which water bottles can be refilled.
Campers are required to bring their own clearly marked soccer ball and a water bottle to camp. They should also bring molded soccer shoes and flats (no black sole shoes) to the camp. In case of inclement weather, we have access to the PEB Fieldhouse which is an artificial turf surface as well as other surfaces on the campus. Each camper is required to wear shin guards during all playing activities.
Getting to UIC Is Easy
UIC is conveniently located just west of the junction of three major expressways: the Eisenhower (I-290), Kennedy (I-90/94 Northwest), and Dan Ryan (I-90/94 Southeast). Several exits provide access to the campus: Ashland, Damen, Halsted, Harrison, Morgan, Racine, Roosevelt and Taylor. Camp is a 9 minute walk from the Blue Line UIC-Halsted Stop, a 10 minute walk from the Metra Halsted Stop and 25 minutes from Oak Park by car.
The University of Illinois at Chicago is the largest institution of higher learning in the Chicagoland area. The campus was formed in 1982 by the consolidation of two campuses: the Medical Center campus, which dates back to the 19th century, and the comprehensive Chicago Circle campus which opened in 1965. Prior to the opening of Chicago Circle campus, the University of Illinois had a two year undergraduate program at Navy Pier which first opened in 1946 to educate returning veterans. UIC shares the rich tradition of the diversity of the city and the spirit of community that is part of the heritage of Chicago’s near west side. The newly renovated South Campus and surrounding area provides an ideal setting for hosting this soccer camp.
