High School Development Camp
Sean Phillips Soccer High School Development Camp at UIC
Due to COVID-19, UIC did not allow Sean Phillips Soccer to host any programs at UIC this summer. The health and safety of our campers, their families, our staff and the UIC community continue to be the top priority. The NCAA recently extended the Recruiting Dead Period through January 1, 2021. When UIC allows us to host camps on campus and the NCAA lifts the Recruiting Dead Period, we can schedule a High School Development Camp. Please contact us via email if you want us to organize one for you. Stay safe!
Join the UIC Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff and select UIC Men’s Soccer players for a week of training designed to accelerate your summer development in preparation for the upcoming high school soccer season. Training sessions will be designed to challenge the technical, tactical, physical and psychological components of your game over the course of the week. Goalkeeper specific training will be available. This camp is only open to boys who are entering their freshmen through senior years of high school in the fall of 2020.

How to Enroll
No telephone reservations are accepted. If, upon applying the camp is full, you will be registered into our waitlist for that session option. As space becomes available, we will automatically register you into the camp and an email confirmation will be sent. Register early as limited on site reservations will be accepted!
All confirmation details are sent immediately in the registration confirmation email. A valid email address must be included with the registration. Please be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book!
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a 20% handling fee. To receive a refund, the camp office must be notified 48 hours prior to registration.
No physical examination is required. Each camper must have a new, completed consent form on file with the camp each summer. The form is part of the online registration process.
Each camper is responsible for their own food and snacks. We also recommend that each camper bring their own clearly marked water bottle as Sean Phillips Soccer does not provide cups. Sean Phillips Soccer does provide water coolers with which water bottles can be refilled.
Campers are required to have their own clearly marked soccer ball and water bottle at camp.
Getting to UIC Is Easy
UIC is conveniently located just west of the junction of three major expressways: the Eisenhower (I-290), Kennedy (I-90/94 Northwest), and Dan Ryan (I-90/94 Southeast). Several exits provide access to the campus: Ashland, Damen, Halsted, Harrison, Morgan, Racine, Roosevelt and Taylor. Camp is a 9 minute walk from the Blue Line UIC-Halsted Stop, a 10 minute walk from the Metra Halsted Stop and 25 minutes from Oak Park by car.
The University of Illinois at Chicago is the largest institution of higher learning in the Chicagoland area. The campus was formed in 1982 by the consolidation of two campuses: the Medical Center campus, which dates back to the 19th century, and the comprehensive Chicago Circle campus which opened in 1965. Prior to the opening of Chicago Circle campus, the University of Illinois had a two year undergraduate program at Navy Pier which first opened in 1946 to educate returning veterans. UIC shares the rich tradition of the diversity of the city and the spirit of community that is part of the heritage of Chicago’s near west side. The newly renovated South Campus and surrounding area provides an ideal setting for hosting this soccer camp.
